Post-Bid Invalid Traffic and Viewability Assessment

We are happy to announce the launch of our Post-Bid program. By choosing to participate in this program you will be able to track and detect invalid traffic and viewability measurements based on a sampling of your total video impressions.

You can monitor the Quality and Viewability measurements integrated into the Cedato dashboard using technology from these leading providers:

  • Moat
  • Protected Media

Now, all you need to do is to "Opt-In" to the Post-Bid analysis service and set up your desired monitoring sample rate.

In order to do so, go to 'Network Settings' click on the 'Post-Bid' tab. The following screen will appear:


Select 'Yes' to "Opt in Post-Bid Analysis". At this point you can set the percentage of Impressions you wish to sample with each provider. The percentage options are: Disabled, 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%.


Please note that opting into the program carries a minimum monthly fee, and you will be charged a CPM cost that varies per technology provider.

Keep in mind that every modification to the percentage of impressions to sample will take effect the following day (midnight EST time).

Quality and Viewability reports by Moat are updated once a day for the previous day at 8:30 am EST. The same reports by Protected Media are updated once an hour with an hour delay.

Note: with this announcement, we are concluding our promotion of free IVT sampling provided as a courtesy to our customers over the last few months. We are confident the new program together with the latest pre-bid capabilities and new vendors will provide even better tools and capabilities to monitor and improve traffic quality.
