The following describes how to go to the edit page of an existing Demand item –

  • Editing a Demand Item in the Manage Page
  • Editing a Demand Item by Finding It – Searching
  • Editing a Demand Item from a Report

Editing a Demand Item in the Manage Page

To edit a Demand item in the list –

  1. In the left pane, select DEMANDMANAGE DEMAND to display a list of previously defined Demand items.

  1. To edit a Demand item, click the Edit (/helpdesk/attachments/101011300085) icon on the right. To duplicate a Demand item, click the Duplicate ( /helpdesk/attachments/101011300086)icon on the right.

Note – CedatoX Demand item types cannot be duplicated.

  1. The same fields as for creating a new Demand item are displayed. You can edit all fields, except for the Demand Type.

Editing a Demand Item by Finding It – Searching

To edit a Demand Item –

  1. Find the relevant Demand item by typing at least three characters of the Demand ID or Demand Name in the search field at the top left of the page and pressing the Enter key, as shown above.

  1. A list of matching Demand items appears in the dropdown menu. Click the relevant one.

/helpdesk/attachments/101011300089 – Indicates a CedatoX Demand item.

/helpdesk/attachments/101011300090 – Indicates a VAST Demand item.

  1. To edit that Demand item, click its name in the dropdown menu.
  2. The same fields as for creating a new Demand item are displayed. You can change all fields except for the Demand Type.

Editing a Demand Item from a Report

To edit a Demand item –

  1. Display a Report.
  2. Hover over the relevant Demand to display a tooltip.

  2. The same fields as for creating a new Demand item are displayed. You can change all fields except for the Demand Type.
