Supply Setup on the EX.CO Platform

Overview

This document explains how to use the Supply Management system on the EX.CO platform.
To properly set up supply tags, we recommend that you first make sure your demand sources are connected to EX.CO. You can follow the instructions HERE

Setup

On the left-hand navigation menu, click on Ad Server > Supply Management. If this is the initial setup, you will not see any tags on the first screen. After you set up supply tags, this is where they will appear.

New Supply Tag Creation

To create a new tag, click on the + icon on the top right-hand side of the screen.

  1. General Tab
    • Name - provide a name for your new tag
    • Integration type (select VAST or Prebid.JS. if you would like to add an integration type that’s not listed, simply let your customer success manager know and we will add it).
    • Channels - The relevant channels per integration type will be pre-selected.
    • Pricing - Entering a floor price is not mandatory (in fact, we recommend not to enter a value in this field in order to allow the ML algorithm to price each auction dynamically, but you are welcome to insert any particular floor price you require).

    • Supply cost - In case you want to ensure a fixed CPM or Revenue Share model for specific inventory (Mainly if you are an ad management platform/sales house).

  2. Demand Tab

All connected demand sources will be listed and searchable here for selection per supply tag. If you haven’t yet connected your demand, EX.CO demand will be called by default, but generally demand connection should take place prior to creating supply tags.

  3. Settings Tab

Customizable video supply settings per tag such as placement size, protocol, playback, ad maximum duration, position and more.

  4. Targeting Tab

To set up blocking rules - primarily for direct demand campaigns with strict targeting limitations.

  5. Export Tab

This tab summarizes the primary parameters setup and presents on the right side all the macros that can be copied into your ad server (or Prebid folder, if you are using Prebid.JS integration).
The default macros cannot be deselected as they are mandatory, but other macros can be deselected if needed. Important: we do recommend leaving the default selections as-is.

To complete the tag creation, click on the Create button on the top right (the button is gray/unclickable by default and will become blue/clickable once all mandatory fields are filled in).
