Setting up an inventory

  1. Go to Inventory > Sites & Pages.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a site name and display name. Enter a URL, if applicable. You do not need to complete the remaining fields. Note, if the site name contains two words, use an underscore “_” between the words, since spaces are not allowed. The following characters are permitted: 1234567890_.-/abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
  4. Click Save.

Creating a page group

  1. From the administration page, click New page group.
  2. Enter a page group name, which is usually the same as the site name.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click the inventory format icon beside your new page group name.
  5. Select Video - Linear from the inventory list.
  6. Click Save changes.

Creating a page

  1. From the administration page, click New page.
  2. Enter "Prebid" as the page name. Ensure Allow ad delivery on this page is checked.
  3. Click Save.
    Having returned to the administration page, you should see your page group contains a "Prebid" page.

Extracting the site ID and page ID

You require the site ID and page ID to connect this placement to the ad server. You can find this in two ways:

  1. In the page group list, hover over the "Prebid" page and click the question mark to retrieve the IDs.


  1. Open the Video tags accordion.
  2. From the Integration Type dropdown, choose Standalone Vast 4.0 requests
  3. Within the Linear video breaks panel you can extract the site ID (siteid), page ID (pgid) and format ID (fmtid).

Creating a Site

  1. In the OpenX menu, go to Inventory > Sites.
  2. In the Sites List, click Create New Site.
  3. Add a name, set the Distribution Channel to Web, and click Save.
  4. Returning to the Sites List, click Add Ad Unit in your new site's row.
  5. Type an ad unit name, set the Distribution Channel to Web, the Ad Placement to Video, and the Ad Unit Type to Video.
  6. Next, set the Presentation Format to In-stream, and ensure the Mime Types and Protocols are listed thus:
  7. Set the Maximum Ad Duration to 60 seconds, and under Advanced Settings, set the API Framework to VPAID 2.0.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Returning to the sites list, you can view your ad unit by clicking on your site to open the site details, then clicking the Show Ad Units button.
  10. In the ad units list, you can see your ad unit ID and site ID.

Creating a Site

  1. Click the Sites tab.
  2. Click Create Site.
  3. Type in a site name and choose your Inventory Type.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the Sizes & Formats screen, and set the ad type to Video.
  6. Select Pre-Roll and Outstream In-Article and complete the settings as listed below.
  7. Ensure Create Zone is checked and click Submit.
  8. In the Create Zone window, add a Zone Name (usually the same as the Site Name) and select the relevant Content Categories.
  9. Click Submit.

You can then use the account ID, site ID and zone ID.


Pubmatic

Creating a Site

  1. Go to the Inventory tab and click on Sites & Tags.
  2. In the Sites and Apps tab, click the dropdown beside Add Inventory and select Add a Site/App.
  3. From the Platform dropdown select Web, set the Site Domain as the publisher domain, and type a Site Identifier name (which will be used for domain approval later on).
  4. Click Save Site/App.
  5. In the Sites and Apps tab, find your site in the list and click the 3-dot icon beside the name to reveal the Actions dropdown. Select Manage Ad Tags.
  6. In the Ad Tags tab, click the dropdown beside Add Inventory and select Create Ad Tag.
  7. In the Add New Ad Tag screen, select your site under Site/App, set Format Type to Video, Response Code to VAST, and Attributes to RTB.
  8. In Video Preferences, please ensure your setup corresponds to the below:
  9. In Basic Details, name your Ad Tag and click Save.
  10. Approve your domains by using the Pubmatic template and bulk uploading using the site identifier you chose for the site.
  11. Ensure the Ad Tag ID (not site ID) is used in the Ad Slot for the adapter within the EX.CO platform.

Index

Creating a Site

  1. From the menu, go to Inventory > Site IDs.
  2. Click Create Site ID.
  3. Add a Name and Description, then select your Category.
  4. Click Create.

You can use the site ID for the adapter in the EX.CO platform.


Unruly

Creating a Placement

  1. From the menu, go to Integrations > Prebid.
  2. Click Create Placement.
  3. Add a Placement Name.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. On your new Placement row, click Edit.
  6. Copy the Placement ID and paste it as your External Source ID
  7. For Media Type, select Site.
  8. In Floors, choose Video and add your Default Floor.
  9. Click Submit.
  10. In the Prebid screen, set your placement's Status to Active.

 You can copy the placement ID and implement your Prebid in the EX.CO platform.


Xandr

Creating a Placement

  1. From the menu, go to Publishers > Placement Manager.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Add a Placement Name, set the Status as Active, and set a Floor Price.
  4. Click Save.
