Integrate your YouTube videos to EX.CO
- Click Media Library
- Click Create
- Click Connect YouTube from the dropdown menu
- Add a descriptive name for your YouTube account
- Add your YouTube Data API key
- Clicking the button will open up Google login UI for YouTube
- By signing in, you are agreeing to the terms surrounding YouTube import
- Once logged in, you have the option to let EX.CO access your Google account. Select “View your YouTube account” (see screenshot below)
- Scroll down to proceed to the next step
View your YouTube account
- Arrive at the default manual import screen
- If you manage multiple YouTube accounts or additional corporate YouTube accounts, you will need to add these additional YouTube accounts too
- You have the option to add additional accounts within the modal by clicking your username
- Click + Connect another channel and choose another channel associated with your Google ID (see screenshot below)
Import Single/Multiple Videos
Once connected you will see your YouTube videos show up in the modal.
You can now manually choose one or more videos to import from the channel.
For each video, a preview button is available. Clicking it will open up a floating YouTube embed over a dimmed background, similar to our premiumpopup player.
Set up Auto-Import
In addition to picking the available videos manually, you will see a toggle in the modal saying “Import every new video/s uploaded to this channel automatically to the media library”.
Enabling this toggle triggers a service that will periodically check for new available videos and will import them to the EX.CO platform automatically.
Add additional YouTube accounts
You are able to add multiple YouTube accounts on the EX.CO platform, for every domain with its unique channel on YouTube.
In the Integrations tab you are able to:
- View all YouTube integrations you’ve created for your account
- Deactivate or activate existing integrations
- Filter those by activity status
- Create a new integration using the + button
Import YouTube playlists
- Click Media Library
- Click Create
- Within the dropdown, click YouTube ID connect

Clicking YouTube ID connect opens the “Create Youtube Playlist”Create Youtube Playlist" modal

Fill out the fields as follows:
a: Give your playlist a name
b: Choose the YT account that you wish to use to pull playlist data from
c: Provide the YouTube playlist ID (which is only the part of the URL on YouTube that is after the https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=xxx copy everything after the = sign)
d: Select the desired update interval (every 60-180 mins)
e: Select the number of videos in the playlist (5-20 videos)
