You can choose from four player types: In-stream, Out-stream, Vertical, and Highlights. Here is a breakdown of the types:
In-stream and Out-stream
- A horizontal player with a 16:9 aspect ratio
- Designed specifically for an immersive video content experience
- Includes sleek UI elements suitable for various hero and in-article placements
- Offers multiple sticky player UI experiences and behaviors
Vertical
- A vertical player with a 10:16 aspect ratio
- Optimized for mobile-first experiences
- Supports vertical content feeds, such as YouTube Shorts, with more channels coming soon
- Introduces a swipe experience, similar to the user experience of social media platforms
Highlights
- Provides a unique RSS-to-video experience, allowing easy creation of video content from article stories
- Features a quick plug-and-play creation process
- Enhances engagement and content circulation on your website
- Includes unique UI elements and content circulation players
Creating a player
Set up your player

On the Players page, click Create

In the Create new player window, select the Player type (In-stream, Highlights, Out-stream, Vertical)

In the Player name field, type a name for your player

In the Player domain field, type your domain name
Customize your player
- Adjust the style and design elements to match your preferences
- Customize the user interface to fit your needs
- Configure how the player operates
- Define the audience that will see the player
Preview your player
- Click Preview
- Review how the player appears on both desktop and mobile
Embed the player on your website
- To retrieve your code, click Embed
- Select the type of implementation
- To test the player on your site or to publish your player, click Publish
Access and edit the player
- To find your player, go to the Player page
- Click the player’s name, or in the Actions menu click Edit
Review player details
- Check the domain associated with the player
- View the playlist linked to the player
- See if the sticky player is activated and which devices it’s enabled for
- Find out when the player was created
- Review the current status of your player. Get smarter responses, upload files and images, and more
